This flower looked like it did not belong to this plant.  It looked to me as if someone had hung something on it.  I was surprised to see that it was a flower.
Jim is holding onto what looks like a long, rough green bean.  This  is used for medicine for many diseases.
This lady wanted her picture taken so badly that she bent over  her  cassava  as if she was spreading it out to dry.  They sometimes grind this into flour.
She was crocheting a scarf.  It was done perfectly.  Too bad it had gotten so dirty, but I am sure she will get it sparkling clean in the way Africans do while living in the dirt.
The rigging they use to bring up the rocks and soil and then the worker, when the hole gets too deep for  a homemade ladder.
