A family on Efate

A family learning to read and write in their language, taught by Sister Leben; the mom in the pink, daughters (she has 4 and 2 sons) and some of the grandchildren.  A lovely family.  Petra gave Books of Mormon in Bislama to them for Christmas.  One of the girls had one already, and it was quite worn.  All of the daughters are married and have many children of their own.

Showing Sister Leben a bush that has fragrant fruit on it that they make jam out of.  Sister Leben was going to try it.

A grandson getting leaves for his mom to fix to bake some dinner in.  They use this leaf for many things.

The mom preparing the leaves to bake something inside.  She pulls off the spine and folds the leaf in half.  Sister Leben said it is harder than it looks.
