My husband and I are 'retired' but travel all over the third world developing clean water projects funded by our church. We get paid only in blessings. Life is a joy when it has meaning, and life is truly interesting for us! We have been to Indonesia, Kenya, Tanzania, Peru, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nepal, Haiti, Mongolia, the Pacific Islands and Ghana. We come home to hugs from our children and many grandchildren.

Makeni pictures/more later, Internet not so good...
This lady wanted me to take her picture, or so I thought. I finally realized she was trying to tell me that when we were there before I had given her a receiving blanket because she was expecting. This little girl on her back is just one of the two she had--twin girls! What a fun thing to learn! We asked everyone to fence their wells. This is one of the better type of fences built. This community was very organized and so grateful for their gift. They are really going to take good care of this and we are happy to see communities like this one.
